The name is inspired by how rough the year of being on maternity leave was, and how the hour of playing with clay while my daughter was sleeping gave me a moment of serenity. The ruff sculptures are an expression of an intuitive moment where I allow the clay and my hands to dance together to capture a moment of movement.Marthine Spinnangr is a designer based in Oslo, Norway. Her education includes a Bachelor in Product Design from Oslo Metropolitan University and a Bachelors of Business Administration from University of San Fransisco, California. Spinnangr´s design practice focuses on experimentation, form exploration, intuition, biomorphism and emotional design.Marthine strives to create objects that are in the intersection between art and design.
