Large red brick cast sphinx with a surface washed in a concrete skin and filled on the interior with a full concrete core. The sculpture has a red terra cotta surface showing in several places on the surface and a grouted concrete core to the bottom edges. This manner allows a better cast image with the weight to be used in outdoor settings. The size is 9.75" wide and 17.75" long, the height is 13". The condition is good. The surface is weathered in a very pleasing patina of wear and age.
