David Muniz Lucite Acrylic Art Sculpture, signed and dated for 1996. The piece is comprised of vibrantly colored ruby red & clear beveled acrylic lucite multi-level shaped panels. The entire piece refracts light beautifully, picking up the surrounding colors and casting rainbows around the space. Signed and dated in etching on the base. Measures 23" height, 15" width and 8" depth. The clear lucite base measures 12" wide, 8" depth and 2" height. Unpackaged weight is over 22 lbs. Excellent, undamaged condition, near mint. The company began in 1965 as a Muniz family-owned Lucite acrylic workshop in Miami, Florida. I will be listing a rare Shlomi Haziza Lucite Table, and another large Muniz art sculpture.
