Hand-carved Senufo (Calao/Hornbill) sculpture from West Africa - a striking, stylized wooden bird figure often associated with Senufo ritual and decorative carving. This solid wood piece measures 19" tall x 10.5" wide x 6" deep, standing on its original rounded base. The carving shows the classic elongated bill, rectangular wing panels with square cutouts, carved body markings, and a nicely aged surface. A small dealer sticker on the base reads "Call $210" (photo included), which provides provenance as a previously retailed export piece.
