This is an incredible tall 2 piece solid mahogany secretary made by Irving and Casson. The upper case has unusual arched glass all cut to size four adjustable shelves the crown does come off with a crotch mahogany center medallion and 4 solid mahogany finials. The base is also solid mahogany with crotch mahogany on the lid. Open the lid to expose curly sold maple interior with drawers and two pull outs for pens. The drawer fronts are also crotch mahogany with inlay and sold brass pulls. There are two key s for the lid and top drawer. Beautiful in person.
