This is a vintage secretary's desk. A Danish, rosewood narrow office table by Sibast Mobel, dating to the late 20th century, circa 1970. Sibast Mobel was founded by Helge Sibast (1908 - 1985) a Danish craftsman with an eye for mixing tradition and international influence. A creative designer, he was installed as the head of design and product development at the family company at the time of his father's passing. Collaborating with fellow designer Arne Vodder in the 1960s, the company had a lot of export success to the United States and later worked with other designers on special collections.
