19th Cent. French x Maison Jansen Secretaire 19th Cent. France Elegant 19th century French secretaire à abattant, crafted in richly figured mahogany with refined gilt bronze accents. The fall-front writing surface opens to reveal a fitted interior (not shown) above a series of drawers, while the upper case features three small drawers with brass pulls. The case is adorned with neoclassical detailing including fluted pilasters, molded paneling, and brass inlay highlights. Raised on slender, tapered legs terminating in brass-capped feet.
