This is a fine antique solid mahogany framed Chippendale styled inlaid late 19th century slant top desk. boxwood line Inlaid slant lid opening to a fitted interior of cubby's and smaller drawers with a front having pull out supports with 4 graduated drawers with boxwood line banding. Standing on a Chippendale style bracket ogee foot. Desk shows age and use and has never been restored or refinished. Does have some smaller repairs like foot edges and small elements inside desk. Heavy quality. Very good look. Unsigned. Measures 40 inches wide X 22 deep X 42 inches high.
