Base has Cavetto secret drawer, no handles that pulls out to support desk when open.. Original handles have mirrors attached. Has original glass, though one piece is cracked This is similar in quality to my Meeks pieces, but I believe has more high quality handwork than those by Meeks. I believe this was not made in a factory, like Meeks, but by one master craftsman, pre industrial revolution. Area around glass shows high quality Hand work. . This is an unusually nice antique that I have personally enjoyed for 40 years, and it is now in my living room. Please contact me for more details.
