A charming late Victorian period inlaid mahogany bonheur du jour circa 1895. Of excellent construction in solid mahogany with attractive mahogany veneers. The top section with with a domed top over a recessed mirror and flanked by a pair of stationary cupboards which are surmounted by a brass gallery. The lower section with a single drawer and a fold over writing slope (fitted with its original black leather writing surface). All standing on tapering square legs, united by an under-tier and terminating in spade feet. All doors and drawers are lockable (keys supplied).
