Splendid French writing cabinet from the Louis XV period from the 19th century. The cabinet has four supporting feet with the pompous and majestic shapes of classic French furniture. The low central body consists of 3 large chests of drawers, with two brass handles in patina, suitable for storing clothes or utilities for the area where you choose to place this piece of furniture. Above the drawer is a thicker frame, which protrudes elegantly. Higher up we see a space with a majestic fabric handle, which opens a writing desk. In fact, one pulls down the sinuous and very beautiful wooden top. Above this are five more compartmentalised drawers leaving a frame filled with curves and sinuosity, very whimsical. Above this are two mirrors that open like a window with original mirrors of the time in a rectangular shape with a hemispherical dome at the top. Opening these doors we see two elegant walnut shelves that create three compartments for storing all kinds of objects. A pompous frieze rises above, with two small side waves surmounted by the central frieze element, decorated with a mirror at its centre. The cabinet is marvellous and is suitable for classic and elegant styles.
