Danish Mid Century Modern Tambour Roll-Top Secretary Desk by Langeskov Møbelfabrik. A beautiful display of Scandinavian craftsmanship. This piece serves as a secretary desk with a concealed storage, and also as a chest of drawers with plenty of storage. Pulling open the top drawer activates the roll top; they open in conjunction with one another. The tambour rolltop slides open to reveal cubby space and drawer space. Additionally there is a concealed, shallow compartment in the pencil drawer. A brown leather inset at the work surface gives an elegant touch. All sides and drawer pulls have rounded edges. Mostly solids and mix of some veneer. Drawers glide easily as does the tambour rolltop. There are glides at the base to protect the desk from dragging the bottom, can be slid easily into place.
