This Heywood-Wakefield M389W Secretary Desk, also known as a desk/chest combo, features solid birch construction and designed with a drop-front desk surface over three spacious drawers. This particular model is hard-to-come-by these days. It has been refinished in a more warm tone. The original finish was Champagne as is stamped on backside. The removable shelving section in the top is still in the original Champagne finish. This in excellent condition , all drawers work smoothly and drop down desk hinges works well.
