This exceptional vintage mid century secretary desk with bookcase was designed by British-born T.H. Robsjohn-Gibbings for Widdicomb circa 1960. Expertly crafted from solid walnut, the cabinet features two wood accented upper glass doors with a removable and adjustable interior shelf, three spacious lower dovetailed drawers, and a fourth top panel that opens to a pull-out desk surface with small interior drawers and storage cubbies. Widdicomb label to interior of second drawer. This versatile and multi-functional piece works as a desk cabinet and bookcase, bar cabinet or dresser. CONDITION Excellent vintage condition with wear consistent with age and use. Marks and wear from use to desk surface as per photos. One small blemish on cabinet top. Solid and sturdy.
