Spectacular George III style secretary desk by Bloomingdale’s - Made in Italy. Features striking burlwood with banded inlays, double arch top with glass doors, four drawers with banded inlays and a slant font with working lock. Good vintage condition , couple of veneer repairs have been made. One scratch on the side that’s not very prominent, small knob for the candle tray has a break but still functions, small glass chip on the very edge of the glass which isn’t noticeable unless pointed out (see last few pics) . Drawers are lined in signature Bloomingdale’s liner , the Bloomingdale’s tag was removed by previous owner. Desk working height is 30.5” and the leg opening is 28” . Key included which works the locks.
