Bureau de Maastunnel was conceived by Remco de Wolf. Designed and realized in Rotterdam. After an earlier project with laminating wood, he wanted to apply this again in his latest design. This is reflected in the round part of the desk.Bureau de maastunnel has a clean appearance due to the lines in the drawer fronts with a clear contrast. But also a nod to a more classic style due to the veneered wind rose in the flap. Bureau de maastunnel is designed in such a way that there are various possibilities to store things so that the work surface always remains free. The desk has 2 push open drawers with solid surface fronts. In these fronts are small solid notes piping. There is also an extra storage space especially for alaptop just below the blade. What makes this desk so special is that a magnet is incorporated into the valve. The valve can be opened with a wooden button that also has a magnet attached. This way, the button can be removed and a clean work surface remains. Bureau De Maastunnel is finished with a colourless ultra matte 2 component lacquer.
