The Sorra Semi Flushmount from Metropolitan Lighting spreads a wide arrangement of brass-finished steel branches outward from a circular ceiling plate, each arm dotted with small round glass buds and accented with flat glass leaves distributed along the length. The branches sweep low and wide, giving the fixture a generous spread without requiring a drop. Light output is ambient, diffused through and around the glass elements rather than concentrated in any one direction. The layered, botanical structure makes the fixture as much a decorative object as a light source, and it is fully dimmable.
