There’s no room for a no-win scenario in interior décor with the Tayte Semi-Flushmount by Alder & Ore. Smooth and mid-century in style, it starts with a smooth disc canopy of stainless steel that drops a short downrod to a single cylindrical socket for a candelabra style bulb. The lamping is then surrounded by a spherical shade of clear glass held in place by a metal collar that flares out above the socket, mellowing direct brightness and softening the fixture’s otherwise simple lines.
