During her stay in the United Arab Emirates, she discovers the heritage of the land, the fauna, the deserts and the mountains. There she meets Bedouins and learns from these women who perpetuate traditions while striving to preserve their knowledge.The technique Porcelain is a clay rich in kaolin whose whiteness and translucency give it a most contemporary charm. Mineral and sensual material, it is an inexhaustible source of inspiration for this artist.Myrtille works the land like a graphic designer works on a blank page; folds, cuts, embosses, applies patterns and adds natural materials such as wood or more sophisticated materials such as gold and precious stones. She likes to combine ancestral craftsmanship with current techniques such as laser cutting or 3D printing.Each piece is made by hand in the pure tradition of luxury craftsmanship.
