Pair of large self-supporting eclectic shelves in carved and gilded wood, Italy third quarter 19th century. Shaped tops covered in velvet, uprights made up of a shaped back part against which, on the front, are carved pilaster-style architectural elements in Baroque style, the latter composed of 'S'-shaped volutes with curls at the ends. The pilasters are also decorated with leaf elements and floral festoons held together by ribbons. Partially recovered gilding. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker.
