Pair of Polychrome Wrought Iron Corner Shelves, Early 1900s. Italian Art Nouveau artifacts consisting of a sheet metal top with a twisted edge and decorated with a hand-embossed acanthus leaf railing. The shelf is composed of two iron scrolls held together by bands and rivets, with sprigs of flowers and leaves inserted into their centers. These wall shelves are an Italian creation from the Art Nouveau era, handcrafted and lacquered in shades of green, brown, and red. They are an Italian artifact dating back to the early 1900s. They come from a private collection in Milan and are in good condition. They can be wall-mounted using a central hook in the corner upright. Period: Circa 1910.
