The Coffer Shelf from SIN mixes the unique artisanal spirit with a layered, modular construction. Part of the iconic Fig shelving system (short for “Configuration”), it starts with two handmade ceramic cube structures showing off a grid construction, each of which differs subtly from any others, while elevating a half-inch rectangular slab of tempered glass between them. The contrasts between the smooth tempered glass and the rustic ceramic supports below draws the eye, while the open air and translucent top keep everything light.
