A red-painted primitive, counter-mounted shelf. The perfect size and depth for a small collection of pottery or design objects/implements. We've shown the shelf filled with a substantial quantity of glasses, mugs and decorative pieces to demonstrate that the shelf is larger than it looks and also looks even better when filled with beautiful and functional items. This piece is medium weight and is made of solid wood, and dates to the 1950s, with the original barn-red paint. It lends a rustic charm to any space and seems to beg to be displayed in a kitchen or bath space. If you are working with a space that is overly polished...a bit too perfect, and an element with a bit more of a naturalist, weathered feel is required to be introduced into the space for balance, or as a foil to the perfection, this is that piece.
