Rivet Shelf

The Rivet Shelf explores basic storing facets within one shape while functioning as a storage and display platform. Based on a riveting technique suitable for making perpendicular joints between separate, laser-cut raw aluminum sheets, the shelf is put together by hand using a hammer in a cold-forming assembly process developed by designer Jonas Trampedach in 2011. Designed by Jonas Trampedach for Frama - an interior and product design studio based in Copenhagen. The studio is a dynamic testing ground for new designs and projects, embodying their classical, yet boundary-pushing approach.
