An extremely rare three-tier étagère shelf, crafted from high-quality cabinetry, an expression of refined Venetian craftsmanship from the late 19th century. The architectural structure features three shelves with festooned edges. The side uprights are embellished with four cherub heads carved in high relief and rich leafy scrolls. The upper section is crowned by an elegant central shell moulding, a distinctive element of the Rococo style. Material and Finish: Made of hand-carved wood. The finish is a fine two-tone lacquer, typical of the Venetian tradition: the base is a deep "Venetian Red" that creates a magnificent contrast with the carvings, profiles, and sculptures, all entirely finished in gold, lending brightness and three-dimensional depth to the piece.
