Offsets are planned into each joint to allow for careful chamfering of every part, making for a soft hand that encourages the tactile experience.The shelves are ebonized in a traditional processes in which utilizes the woods own tannins to create a deep brown scale ebony. This process does not fill the woods pores and so the structure and quality of the wood remain unobscured.
