Rare and highly sculptural Danish Modern entryway ensemble consisting of an original Poul Cadovius wall-mounted shoe cabinet combined with an exceptional geometric wall-mounted coat rack and matching solid teak mirror. Denmark, circa 1960s–1970s. The composition combines Scandinavian craftsmanship with architectural geometry and warm organic materials, resulting in a remarkably curated and visually balanced interior object. The original Cadovius cabinet features an unusually refined textured front, elegant drop-front functionality, finely executed dovetail joinery and beautifully figured teak veneer throughout. The interior includes shelving and two small drawers with original green lining. The accompanying wall-mounted coat rack is composed of solid teak hexagonal elements connected by cream-colored metal supports and fitted with elegant brass hooks. Its geometric structure creates a sculptural wall presence reminiscent of modular architectural compositions of the late Danish Modern period. The ensemble is completed by a rare round mirror featuring a solid teak frame and solid teak backing — a level of craftsmanship rarely found in comparable Scandinavian mirrors of the period.
