The details to the center back rest are a quintessential Louis Marjorelle design esthetic, with the skilled craftsmanship, to employ inlaid details in a variety of woods, (all natural elements), honed in the Art Nouveaux period of Furniture, Art and Deign of all facets. There were 2 type of wood used in the making of this chair. Unique and original The original-current owner/client has had this since the 1970's, and was married to a Art Deco/Art Nouveaux Dealer when attained this chair, as well as the Austrian Art Nouveaux chair herein, and the gorgeous, Art Noveaux Breakfront Server Buffet herein as well.
