This vintage, easily identifiable and timeless trompe l'oeil table has been draped in "fabric," cinched with "decorative rope cord and tassels," all the while being crafted entirely in plaster, creating a sculpture that becomes furniture. This 20th Century "fool the eye," iconic side table is attributed to the late, great San Francisco based designer and decorator John Dickinson. A creative and eclectic side/end table that is ideal for cocktails, while it also multi-functions as a pedestal, and or stool. A true work horse for a small Manhattan apartment or loft. In a perfect world, we love to see these as a pair, side by side, always garnering attention and sparking conversation.
