A charming and beautiful antique William IV satin wood Tea Poy / side table. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1830-1840 period. It is of superb quality and has a gorgeous design. Although not likely to be used for storing tea these days, it would make a useful side table entry table or lamp table, and it does contain useful storage for trinkets / stationary / keys etc. This has a Bramah lock in it, which reflects how precious of a commodity tea was back in those days, as Bramah locks are virtually unpickable. The condition is very good for its age, we have give it a clean and light polish. There is just some minor surface wear and patina here and there, commensurate for age. Width – 18 inches , 45 cm Depth – 14 inches , 35 cm Height – 28.5 inches , 72 cm
