Mid-20th Century reproduction of a French Louis XVI style bouillotte table. These tables were originally designed in the 18th century for the popular card game "bouillotte". Features an inset marble top, in shades of grey, white, and pink. A defining feature is the pierced brass gallery encircling the top, originally meant to keep game pieces from falling. Supported by four elegant fluted and tapered legs, a hallmark of the Louis XVI style. Crafted from walnut. Condition: minor scuffs and signs of wear, one chip on the veneer on the side of the table top. Dimensions: 20" H x 18" W x 18" D weight 16 lbs
