A gorgeous side table designed by Bertha Schaefer for M. Singer & Sons in 1952 and produced in Italy for the Singer Modern collection. Originally this table came with a set of 4 smaller folding tables that hung from the wood slots below the table top (see last photo)—unfortunately, we have only the “mother” table. Perhaps there’s someone out there that has the pieces to reunite the set??? Regardless, it’s a beautiful conversation piece. We’ve restored the table with multiple coats of hand rubbed satin oil finish to bring out the beautiful walnut wood grain as well as protect.
