This Neoclassical John Widdicomb occasional table from the early 1970s has been thoughtfully restored using traditional methods, including French polishing, to bring out its original charm. While the restoration has refreshed its overall appearance, there are still some visible signs of wear and minor imperfections on the top, consistent with its age and character. Widdicomb is a well-recognized name in the furniture industry. The Widdicomb family, originally from Devonshire, England, established a cabinet shop in Grand Rapids, Michigan in 1858.
