Crafted in England circa 1880, the rectangular leather suitcase retains its original stitched leather surface with a richly developed patina, a front brass lock mechanism, and a central leather handle. The top is further adorned with embossed monogrammed initials “G.O.”, adding a personalized historic detail. The original key is included. The suitcase rests on a separate walnut base raised on barely twist legs, joined by a matching stretcher, a hallmark of the Louis XIII style and providing both visual strength and stability.
