A lovely French Louis XVI bleached oak side table on tapered fluted legs with a carved apron of neoclassical design—Laurel wreaths in a foliate pattern with garlands of hanging ribbons and bows. The corners have the classic carved rosette design, and the tapered legs are decorated with additional foliate designs. This table is perfect as a side table but elegant enough to serve as a foyer or small sideboard. The oak has been bleached in France to a light honey color which significantly enhances the ability to appreciate the classical designs on all four sides.
