This 1960s occasional table features a hand-set glass mosaic tile top in a series of concentric earth-toned patterns. Attributed to Japanese export manufacturers of the mid-century period, the piece was originally retailed through the Ardan Jewelers and Distributors catalog showroom. The construction consists of a circular brass-plated frame supported by four tapered legs, each marked "Japan" on the interior casting. Design elements include a low-profile silhouette, utilitarian screw-mount leg attachments, and an original paper distributor label on the underside. Low profile and clean lines make it an excellent choice for a side table, coffee table, or plant stand. No weld issues to report - minor wear and metal oxidation loss to legs commensurate with age. Tiles are crack and loss free. Display, use ready piece. 16"W × 16"D × 14.75"H Please see photos and reach out with any questions. Check out our other design object listings.
