Part of a collection of sculptural side tables by Serax, 'Amé' is a piece of ceramic art in its own right. Designer Marie Michielssen's organic form is crafted from stoneware, and features a textured top and glazed surface in gray. The table is defined by two rounded asymmetrical hollows in the base, allowing the piece to interact with the space around it. The shape recalls both features of the natural world and 1960s design, adding function, depth and retro cool to spaces.
