Charming antique 19th century washstand. Most likely made in Pennsylvania, and crafted of local tulip wood, also known as poplar. Features a beautifully scrolled hand dovetailed gallery and dovetailed drawer. The refined turned legs support a lower shelf as well. Historically used to hold a pitcher and wash basin, pieces such as this now make perfect accent or side tables. Great antique condition. One old age crack towards the rear of the top. Structurally sound.
