An 18th Century English Mahogany Tripod Table. The round one piece top is great colour and well figured mahogany. The stem of the table is finely turned and incorporates a spiral fluted collar. The base has very finely carved rocaille and leaf work carving on the knees and pad feet with further leaf carved detailing. The top is supported on a bird cage support, always a sign of superior quality. The table has acquired a lovely patination with age and use. This is a very good model of an English tripod table.
