Since, we have developed a ton of designs and variations together divided into three large collections: Showtime, Gardenias and Explorer. The Explorer family is the most recent.Before the forced lockdown due to the pandemic, which is still affecting us today, we presented a ‘starter’ to this new collection – a series of three side tables called Explorer 1, 2 and 3. So far, these have had comercial success. This may be because they remind one of jelly-beans, rounded sweets that children eat in the United States. “This childlike inspiration, has at the same time a very elegant beauty which generally is characterised in my designs. It’s about new shapes, different objects within the market that want to convert into emblematic pieces because these tables are not only functional but sculpturally strong”, explains Hayon.
