This three-legged (and working!) table is part of the collection "Design is Ten Years Old". The collection is the result of a design experiment. It started with the visit of a group of around thirty ten-year-old fourth graders who were encouraged to draw a piece of furniture of their choice, i.e., a chair, table, lamp, shelf, or something similar. Four of these 'designs' have been realized and now evoke the question of what design actually is, who can do it, how it can develop, and what alternatives are out there. And these, as the result shows, are at least conceivable. After all, all objects 'work' – albeit in a 'different', but in their own very fascinating way. Signed by Maker,Signed by Maker
