A Very Nice Diminutive Mahogany Hepplewhite Drop Leaf Pembroke Table With a Drawer, Pennsylvania, Circa 1800 Pennsylvania, 1795-1800. Found in the Bucks County area. A Mahogany diminutive table, with a drawer, tapered legs. A historic finished surface, possibly original. The oval brass pull, is most likely the original pull. The pull is pressed brass, with an eagle and 15 stars to signify the 15th state to join the union: Kentucky in 1792. The leaves are demilune cut, and when the leaves are up the table has a quasi oval appearance. Mahogany top, frame, and drawer front, with poplar secondary woods. A nice cute sized table, ready for service for the next 200 years! Size: 20 1/4" wide, 27 3/4" deep, 28" tall. 2 leaves are 7 1/2" deep, 33 1/4" total width when the leaves are opened. Condition: Historic finished surface, possibly original. Original brass. 28" height is normal, table does not seem to have been altered in height. Age/use associated wear marks, scratches, scuffs, and bumps/dings are all consistent with the age of the piece.
