Each object will have its own unique presence and feature interesting variations in the natural materials and forms created during the artisanal process.Petrified wood is created from fossilized trees transformed into stone by a mineralization process that occurs underground, over hundreds of millions of years. This rare material features striking colors and motifs created by the mineral formation process, comprized of semi-precious minerals such as quartz, chalendony and jasper. Handmade to order unless listed in stock.Any natural blemishes or irregularities should not be misconstrued as flaws; these perfectly imperfect details are what make each piece unique. Petrified wood is a natural material and each piece is hand-sculpted by artisans.
