The round top of this rustic, tri-leg side table is an antique wooden wheel, repurposed from an early 20th century ox-drawn wagon or farm cart. Darkened to a chocolate brown color, the wheel is textured by deep grooves that follow the grain pattern and marked with imperfections that hint at its previous use. In the spirit of wabi-sabi, the wheel has been patched with inlaid wood repairs and lovingly mended with dovetail joinery along any splits or seams. The round top is supported by three tapered legs, hand-carved with a chiseled texture to match the aged texture of the vintage wheel.
