Part of a large collection of ornate wicker that was collected over the years by a Senator's wife. Early 20th century, the open sewing basket has a woven lattice gallery bottom shelf and woven wicker with twisted wicker encircling the legs as they wind down from the upper work basket thru the shelf below culminating in woven wicker covered ball feet. The upper work basket has an ornate handle as well.
