Egypt II Spalted Maple Side Table features finger jointed drawers, deco pendent style pulls and a striped base. The cabinet is put together with mortised mitered finger joints and the legs are connected to a skirt with round mortise and tenons. This piece is completely recylcled from a yard tree. that was going to be cut into firwood. This material is wormy spalted fiddleback silver maple which is a very rare combination of traits for one tree to have. There are 2 small drawers that use small finger joints for the drawer construction. The traditional joinry used in this piece will ensure this piece lasts 100 years. this piece was designed built and manufactured by Cosmo Barbaro
