Empire style side table in solid walnut and walnut veneer, dating from the 19th century. This piece is distinguished by its authentic black marble top and its clean lines, characteristic of the Empire style. It opens to reveal two practical drawers: the first has a working period lock and key, the second retains its original lock, although the key is not functional. The turned cylindrical legs are finely adorned with gilt bronze and brass, adding a touch of classic elegance. The marble displays the natural patina of age.
