Likewise, by finishing the sculpture with a peerless mirror polish, the collection invites the viewer to inhabit both inner and outer space. We see ourselves and the space we inhabit reflected in those flawless planes of smooth, uninterrupted surface, only to find those images corrupted by the inner depths of the torn, fragmented and fractured solid.
