French Rectangular Handcrafted Extendable Table In Solid Oak Wood & Ceramic Top

This dining table belongs to the SIENNA collection and was created by the French designer Christophe Lecomte. Christophe lives on the atlantic shore of France and graduated from l'Ecole Boulle. He specialized in contemporary furniture Design and works for high end furniture manufactures. He decided for this collection to use French solid oak, the wood of past French Kings. Oak is the the perfect wood for durability and comes exclusively from French sustainably managed French forests. The design of this table is just incredible and is fully assembled in our workshop. The top is a 3mm / 0.1 in thick "volcano" ceramic plate that mixes black and brown/rusted shades and covers the full width of the table.The base and the ends of the table are 100% solid oak from France.The 2 wooden extensions ( 50 cm / 19.7" wide each) are folded under the top.To access the extensions, first release the brake under the top then pull the table leg outwards.To facilitate the opening, small rollers are installed under the 2 feet (see the short video)This table accommodates from 6 (folded) to 10 (unfolded with 2 extensions) guests.The wood finish is a "cinnamon" home made oak stain with a brown patina on the feet.GONTIERis a cabinetmaker's furniture brand established since 1920 in Mayenne.It now belongs to the company MON PETIT MEUBLE FRANÇAIS.The manufacture of each piece of furniture remains artisanal, 100% French and of high-end quality.The solid wood comes from sustainably managed French forests, PEFC certified.We offer a 5 year warranty on every piece of furniture.As proof of their authenticity and uniqueness, our furniture is burnt with a "G" hallmark.
