The ‘Tony’ triangular side table was designed by Porada Arredi in the 1970s. This table features a smoked glass top and white-finished wooden base, creating a clean, minimalist composition where smoky translucence contrasts with crisp, modern lines. The modular design allows for versatile configurations—use individually as side tables, arrange multiple as a coffee table, or stack to create an entryway console. In 1948, Luigi Allievi started a small furniture workshop driven by his passion for wood and craftsmanship. By 1968, it had evolved into Porada Arredi. Like many artisan businesses that emerged in post-WWII Italy, Porada thrived in a favorable environment shaped by Mussolini’s SRL, which granted tax concessions to small enterprises. While the war interrupted production, the post-war reconstruction fueled demand for quality, leading these once-small workshops, like Porada, to grow into major furniture manufacturers.Sold and priced individually.Condition: Great vintage condition, with light scratches to the glass top. The wooden frame has been carefully repainted by our team of restorationists. Three of the glass tops have been replaced.
